Have you met …

Well they say right “all good things must come to an end”, but when something as legendry as #HowIMetYourMother comes to an end, it feels for a moment as if the your life has come to standstill for a brief moment,

it’s not like you didn’t expect it or you knew it wasn’t happening but you didn’t expect it to have so many movements and emotions to be packed in the last 43 minutes, from Ted meeting Tracy, to their kids, their marriage, their love, to her death, to Barney and Robins marriage to divorce, to lily’s 3rd kid and marshal running to supreme judgeship, to Barney’s kid and him becoming a (good) daddy, to Robin living the recluse, to ted still liking her, and to finally Ted getting her back, these last 43 minutes summed up all the emotions prevalent across the 9 seasons, exploring each emotion and sentiment of HIMYM. But it’s just not the last episode which makes me write this, it’s the entire life of the 5 people Ted, Barney, Marshal, Lily and Robin who have made us realise the importance of so many instances and emotions, anger, hatred, justice, jokes, sex, ambition, practicality, Love and Friendship. It’s their lives summed into the 9 years of HIMYM.

Again I put my minds and pen in the emotion of completeness to Hi5 to some episodes which made us feel, and re think our real life decisions, be it about taking a leap in the life (The Leap season 4 finale) or waiting and keeping hope in life (The Slutty pumpkin Season 1), or that everything done together with friends can be achieved (Last Cigarette Ever Season 5), or be it about luck in life (Lucky Penny Season 2) or how all good things must be ended and one must move on (Arrivederci, Fiero Season 2), and the legendary last play (Final page Season 8) and how lily’s marriage makes you feel that all that matters in life id the person you love and you friends (and a hat), and how robin’s marriage makes you feel that one must overcome all odds and go any limits to achieve all you want, and all the Teds Gf’s how each of them had thought him a vital lesson in life, be it Stella, Victoria, blah blah, the slutty pumpkin, the stuffed monkey girl and countless other, and how Robin though us practicality is vital to life but it leaves you alone in your life and sometimes you must go for love and it helps the most, How Lily and Marshall show that all it takes in life is to love each other and rest all can be managed to run it, and barney I’m not forgetting you, you my friend have thought us that even though life sucks you can turn it legendary if you feel it, and one must not be dejected by no of times he has been turned down, but must proudly banish a no from the sky about the no of women he has slept with, and that a 1000 lies are forgiven for one act of kindness and that always suit up.

Well its was a long run for me, In 3 years I have seen 9 seasons of all possible forms of emotions possible in this world, to quote lily “I have seen it all” and now it has hit me that I can’t see them anymore, I mean I can see them in re runs or on my laptop but no more surprises or no more freshness, they are gone for life, maybe but I with all my heart hope that they come back.
